We are enjoying our twenty sixth year in the EDM job shop industry. ABLE WIRE EDM INC. specializes in all aspects of electrical discharge machining.

We utilize 14 CNC wire EDM machines, Roboform CNC EDM's sinker and Methods CNC small hole EDM machines. Also we employ a full conventional and CNC machine shop with 4-axis milling capabilities. For tracking and scheduling on time deliveries a JobBoss M.R.P. system is used. Exotic alloys, polycrystalline, nitinol, and neodymium are just a few of the materials that are able to be EDMed at our facility.

A complete CAD/CAM system is used for any engineering assistance you may need and for machine tool path generation. DXF and IGES files are the most commonly used file transfer protocol (FTC) here at ABLE WIRE EDM INC. however most CAD files are acceptable. All work is done at our new climate controlled building located in the city of Brea, CA.

Being ISO 9000 compliant; we are an approved EDM source for many of the major medical and aerospace companies such as BOEING, BF GOODRICH and BIOMET.
